Crystals can bring benefits to every aspect of your life. You can use them to bring balance to your body, elevate the atmosphere of your home or workspace, and support travel.
There are so many crystals to choose from that the idea of building a crystal toolkit can feel overwhelming. I’d like to suggest some that can support you at home, in your workspace, and when you travel.
In this post we will look at the following crystals:

Amethyst predominately resonates with the energy center at your brow. It stimulates understanding as it calms your mind and promotes rational thinking.
At home, amethyst can strengthen understanding between housemates and family members. It can also support restful sleep.
At work the understanding that amethyst brings can relate to a better understanding of job responsibilities as well as customers and co-workers.
Place amethyst in the area where you gather at home and near your regular space at work or school.
Carnelian connects with your sacral energy center. It inspires creativity and reinforces right relationships.
On your workspace or at home, it will support creative ideas and solutions.
Placed at the door, carnelian can attract the right people to your home or workspace.
Citrine corresponds to the energy center at your solar plexus and supports abundance. This is where your sense of self resides and what stimulates your will or drive.
Wherever you use it, citrine can help balance your ego. This may be stepping into a natural leadership role in the workplace or supporting the balance of your relationships at home.
Place citrine in the abundance corner of your home, workspace, or travel camper. To find this space, enter through your front door and move to the far left, rear corner.
You may also choose to keep citrine at your personal workspace.
Clear Quartz vibrates at a high frequency like the energy center at your crown. It has restorative energy, bringing all your energy centers and the energetic vibration of other crystals back to their perfect frequency.
Use clear quartz anywhere this energy is desired. Direct a clear quartz point toward a targeted area. Place a clear quartz sphere as a centerpiece to fill a room. Partner clear quartz with other crystals to amplify their effect.
Rose Quartz supports balance in the energy center at your heart. It stimulates compassion and Universal love.
In your home, rose quartz supports compassion and respect for family, friends, and housemates. Place it in the areas where you gather like living room, den, and dining areas. Place it near your bed to support compassion for yourself. It may also support romance.
Selenite resonates at the same frequency as the energy center at your crown, and above! It clears and balances your energy centers and the energy of other stones.
Satin spar selenite sticks can set a perimeter around your home, slip into pocket, purse, or backpack, and sit in or near potted plants, flower arrangements, or other home and office décor.

Crystals for a Happy Home
You can invite harmony into your home with this set of crystals. You will need:
- Amethyst cluster
- Citrine cluster
- Rose Quartz
- Satin Spar Selenite sticks
Set your perimeter
Gather your satin spar selenite sticks. If your house is a square or rectangle, 4 sticks will be adequate. If you have areas that project out from the main building, or your home is an irregular shape, you may choose to place additional sticks at each corner.
Choose a corner at which to start. From this corner, you will move in a clockwise direction from corner to corner until you have completed walking the perimeter.
Set your intention to create a perimeter of high vibration around your home. Place a selenite stick against the first corner, then move to the next corner, setting a stick and continuing until you have completed the perimeter and arrived back at your starting position.
If you live in an apartment or are unable to set the selenite outside the structure in which you reside, place them in the inside corners of your living space. Keep them out of reach of children and animals. This may mean placing them on shelves, curtain rods, or inside cabinets.
In your living space
Consider where you spend most of your time as a family, this applies to whomever shares your home. This may be a living room, family room, or dining area.
Place an amethyst cluster or spere in this space to enhance understanding between housemates. Avoid using a point in this situation.
Add a rose quartz in this shared space to stimulate compassion for others and yourself.
For abundance
The left rear corner of your home is considered the abundance corner. Place a citrine cluster here to attract abundance.

Crystals for a Happy Camper
Crystals can bring the harmony of your happy home with you on the road.
You will need:
- Amethyst
- Carnelian
- Citrine
- Rose Quartz
- Satin Spar Selenite tower
Harmony on the road
Your selenite tower works to elevate the energy of your environment. A tower can work in any size camper or tent. Set it in a central location with the intention of high vibrational energy filling your space.
In that same central location add the amethyst and the rose quartz. Compassion and understanding are important when traveling, and when staying in close quarters with the ones that you love.
For abundance
To find the right space for your citrine, the stone of abundance, enter through the door into your living area and turn left. Walk to the rear of your camper and place the citrine in the corner to your left.
